When TrendyMinds came and asked for an animation for their New Years Eve social, many ideas were tossed around. We ultimately ended up landing on a concept where two astronauts are toasting each other in space. I played the hand of art director in this project where you can see a bit of my process above in my time lapse. I had a lot of fun in bringing this concept to life through these two characters. Ultimately, I new I had to be mindful of the square crop for social and so I chose to use the window as part of the overall framing and to help establish the setting quickly.
